Friendship With God CD Set

Dominican Fr. Michael Sweeney talks on friendship with God, giving us a deeply challenging and insightful look at our relationship with God. This four-session presentation examines our predispositions, assumptions, and call concerning our status as God's friends, using parables and personal stories to reveal the unimagined intimacy and dignity to which our Lord invites us. Some topics: How we are prone to choose knowledge over life as did Adam and Eve; How we view ourselves still as servants rather than the sons and daughters; Why it is more difficult to receive than to give; How God asks for our mercy; Why we must befriend our humanness rather than escape into ideals
