On October 6 & 7, 2014, parish and Archdiocesan leadership including priests, deacons,
principals, catechetical leaders, liturgical ministers, seminarians, business managers and more
will gather once again at the Dayton Convention Center to develop skills and explore methods
and resources to proclaim Christ in the new missionary age.
In addition to our keynote speakerArchbishop Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council for promoting the New
Evangelization, we will be welcoming speakers from around the country including author and presenter Sherry Weddell,
Fr. Frank Donio of the Catholic Apostolate, and others to be announced.

In describing his hopes for this gathering, Archbishop Schnurr wrote, “The New Evangelization
calls for the engagement of all Catholicslaity and clergy. And it means more than doing what
we have beendoing, but doing it perhaps more conscientiously...It also means looking at the
resources themselves to see whether they are, in fact, equipping our priests, deacons and lay
people to engage themselves in a new missionary age.” You won’t want to miss this op
portunityto pray and learn together.
