Making Of A Bi-Cultural Christian

Making Of A Bi-Cultural Christian

At nearly every Called & Gifted workshop for the past decade,  Sherry Weddell has been asked to tell the tale of her conversion. In  The Making of a Bi-Cultural Christian, she shares the story of the long road from her childhood as a  blue-eyed baby Baptist in southern Mississippi to her eventual entrance into the Catholic Church. Along the way, Sherry spent time as agnostic, Quaker, and  evangelical missionary. She tells how the Easter Vigil liturgy and the  Sacraments gradually drew her to the Catholic Church. She includes the story of that  remarkable period, the "Advent of the three miracles",
when she entered the Church with her old friend, Mark Shea. They had not finished RCIA, it was nearly Christmas, a tragically  abused baby was dying, and the Holy Spirit was on the move.  The CD is  being made available for an introductory price of only $5.
