The Called & Gifted Small Group Series is divided into two parts of five sessions each. Called & Gifted I focuses on questions such as how God has gifted you personally for the sake of your friends, family, and neighbors. Where will you be most effective and joyful in helping and healing others? How can you reliably discern God's call in your life? Sherry Weddell and Dominican Fr. Michael Sweeney speak on these and other essential aspects of lay apostleship in their uniquely penetrating, engaging, and humorous style. Join the tens of thousands of Catholics and other Christians who have begun discerning their spiritual gifts through the Called & Gifted workshop.

Called & Gifted II, Discernment in Depth, follows up on initial discernment, allowing participants to continue their discernment of spiritual gifts and call from God. How does the discernment of spiritual gifts provide the clues you need to follow God's call in your life? How can you gain confidence that you are heading in the right direction? Why is the discovery of your vocation from God so essential to your happiness? Presentations by Sherry Weddell and Fr. Michael Sweeney, available for the first time, discuss the steps needed for deepening one's discernment and for making further strides towards the discovery of one's life-long vocation.

This set contains all the materials a facilitator or leader needs to begin guiding small groups through discernment of their spiritual gifts. The second part, Discernment in Depth, does require some readily available additional training and guidance for optimal success. The Leader's Guide contains more details and outlines the entire process.

The Participant's Guides provide directions for the individual and gives an outline, discussion questions, and preparation needed for each session. Sets of materials for individual participants are available from the Institute office and include the Catholic Spiritual Gifts Inventory, Discerning Charisms Workbook, and participant guides.
